Baptism of Vanadzor Orran Children

On May 16, 2014 Vanadzor Orran center organized the baptism of 70 children with around 25 Godfathers who are representatives of local government, prominent community members, the judge, business people, and the center got donations from local governor, mayor, head of tax inspection, etc.

The ceremony was organized in 3 churches with the support of local bishop Chuljyan, and then there was a big celebration in Vanadzor Orran Center were the children gave their handmade presents (pottery pomegranate with church inside) to their Godfathers and had very nice singing and dancing for the guests. The bishop had a very impressive speech calling and inspiring  everyone in the community  to support the ones who are in need at the moment. Everyone was impressed by the event. It was covered by local and republican TV stations.
